WASHINGTON, D.C. - Congresswoman Julia Letlow (LA-05) today announced that the U.S. Department of Transportation is awarding a $3.5 million Airport Improvement Grant to Alexandria International Airport. The funding will be used to purchase land adjacent to their airport to assist with noise mitigation efforts for the community.
