Education and Workforce Development

An educator myself, I believe strongly in the value of providing a quality education for every child. We must expand school choice, charter schools, and workforce development programs to ensure that employers have access to a highly-skilled workforce.
I'm also a strong supporter of the Trump Administration's efforts to remove burdensome federal mandates from the classroom and ensure that academic achievement remains the focus of education, not DEI initiatives. Upon entering Congress, I led the charge to pass the Parents Bill of Rights Act through the House and ensure that parents nationwide have a voice in their child's education.
One of my favorite things to do while in Louisiana is to visit classrooms and see firsthand the progress being made to raise test scores, improve literacy rates, and prepare students for the modern economy.
