She met with President Donald Trump on his recently announced Farmer Bridge Assistance Program.

Kennedy says she is pleased with the President’s plan during what she calls a “tough” time for farmers.

The Newborns Essentials Support Toolkit Act authorizes an existing pilot program within the Department of Health and Human Services to provide items such as diapers, wipes, breastfeeding supplies, and postpartum mental health resources in areas of need. Original cosponsors include Congresswomen Mariannette Miller-Meeks (R-IA) and Nanette Barragan (D-CA).

RICHLAND PARISH, La. (KTVE/KARD) — Congresswoman Julia Letlow has announced $4 million in Community Project Funding to strengthen rural healthcare services in Northeast Louisiana.

The funding, included in the FY 2026 Agriculture and Rural Development Appropriations bill, will support the upcoming Delhi Hospital Outpatient Therapy and Diabetes Education Center Expansion Project. The measure received final passage in Congress Tuesday night and was signed into law by President Trump.

BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — Louisiana Rep. Julia Letlow announced that $2 million secured will go to the Amite River Basin project for flood mitigation.

According to Letlow’s office, President Donald Trump signed funding into law after it cleared Congress Tuesday night. The Amite River Basin Drainage and Water Conservation District will administer the funds for the upper river flood reduction and restoration project.
