Over 100 Republican Co-Sponsors Join Letlow on the Parents Bill of Rights
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congresswoman Julia Letlow (LA-05) today announced that more than 100 House Republicans have joined her as co-sponsors of H.R. 6056, The Parents Bill of Rights Act. The legislation would put common-sense parent participation practices into law and ensure that families are able to have a meaningful dialog with educators throughout the learning process. Letlow formally introduced the bill in the House on November 19.
“I’m incredibly proud to have more than 100 co-sponsors on the Parents Bill of Rights,” Letlow said. “It clearly shows that Republicans are united and working to ensure that parents have a seat at the table. This bill has now gained considerable momentum, and I look forward to working with my colleagues to move it forward.”
