Letlow Votes for National Defense Authorization Act
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congresswoman Julia Letlow released the following statement after passage of the National Defense Authorization Act, which authorizes annual operations for the Department of Defense.
"I voted for the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) to support our men and women in uniform and protect our national security. The House-passed NDAA provides a pay raise for our troops while increasing our military readiness amid continued threats from foreign adversaries. It also strengthens America's shipbuilding capacity, strips harmful DEI policies from our Armed Forces, and increases support for our Louisiana bases at Fort Polk and Barksdale," said Congresswoman Letlow.
The legislation passed the House of Representatives and now heads to the U.S. Senate for consideration.
