Congresswoman Julia Letlow (LA-05) and Congressman Clay Higgins (LA-03) Introduce Legislation Condemning the Biden Border Crisis

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Congresswoman Julia Letlow (LA-05) and Congressman Clay Higgins (LA-03) introduced H.Res. 1210 which condemns the border crisis created by the Biden administration and his policies.
In addition, the resolution acknowledges the incredible burden the border crisis has created for law enforcement officers. As a result of President Biden’s open border policies, the men and women in law enforcement and border control are subject to dangerous and life threatening situations that would be greatly diminished if there was control at the border.
“The brave men and women that make up our law enforcement and border patrol get up each day to defend our nation’s borders with unwavering dedication and courage,” said Congresswoman Letlow. “This resolution I’m introducing alongside my colleague, Rep. Higgins, honors our law enforcement officers for their devotion to keeping our communities safe, during a time in our nation when our law enforcement has felt the impact of the lack of border protection as a result of the Biden administration’s border policies. Today and every day we stand with the men and women in uniform and their dedication and courage to protect our communities.”
“Biden’s failure to enforce immigration laws and secure our border has brought generational trauma upon our nation,” said Congressman Higgins. “This resolution pays tribute to our state and local law enforcement officers who have worked hard to respond to increased criminal activity resulting from the border crisis. Their devotion and service to their communities are integral to our national security. I will always stand with my Brothers and Sisters of the Thin Blue Line.”
