83 House Republicans Join Letlow to Co-Sponsor Parents Bill of Rights
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congresswoman Julia Letlow (LA-05) today announced that 83 House Republicans have signed on as co-sponsors of H.R. 6056, The Parents Bill of Rights Act. This legislation, which seeks to provide increased opportunities for constructive parent input in the learning process, was introduced in the House of Representatives by Letlow on November 19.
“I’m delighted to see so many of my colleagues join our efforts to give parents a greater say in their child’s education,” Letlow said. “We recognize that building effective partnerships between families and schools is essential because at the end of the day, these are our children, not the government’s. This bill has broad support from across the House Republican Conference, and I look forward to more members joining us in the days to come.”
