Congresswoman Julia Letlow honors Tarver Braddock on House floor
MONROE, La. (KNOE) - Tarver Braddock, the Neville High School student who tragically died in a deer camp fire last week, was honored at the U.S. House today (Jan. 11).
During a school trip to Capitol Hill, students from Neville met with Congresswoman Julia Letlow. Letlow shared her experiences and gave the students advice on how to find purpose after tragedy.
After the meeting, Letlow invited the students to join her in the House gallery. She honored Braddock during her speech on the House floor.
“As I look up into the House Gallery at the faces of his classmates who are with us here today, I see you. My heart aches with you and our prayers will be with you as you face the coming days and weeks ahead. Please know that Tarver will never be forgotten.”
